E-Newspaper in Education is a cooperative effort of newspapers working with local schools to encourage the use of the newspaper as a tool for instruction and to promote literacy. Under the program, the Bradenton Herald sponsors newspapers for teachers to use in their classrooms. E-NIE teachers also receive curriculum ideas, teaching materials, special supplements, newsletters, training opportunities and more.
